Thinking of You

A multipurpose masculine card for the new challenge at

CASology for the cue word of "flame."  Instead of going with 

the fire / vapor definition of "flame," I went with the 

action form of the word ~ to "shine brilliantly" (yes, I 

googled it).   I am sure the very witty and multitalented

Ms. Darnell would have a much more extensive and

humorous story to tell you ;).

Watercolor Blooms

reinkers and rubbing alcohol on glossy paper ~ the 

polished stone technique.  I used Melissa's

A PTI Sketch

A quick card for the festivities at Papertrey Ink for 

their sixth anniversary using one of Nichole's sketch's 

and the colors at Color Throwdown.  I just purchased 

some very fun washi tape at a local craft store,

and used that for the stripes. This is a great design

for my ever growing washi tape collection ;~).

Believe in Fairy Tales

The current cue word at CASology is "fairytale."  

 I am also entering my card at the 52 card pickup.

My card is not for a specific fairytale.  However

many fairytales feature wizard's hats and wands, 

hence my magic hat and wand images.  Did you

ever really think about some of the older fairytales?

There is quite a bit of evil and violence in them,

especially considering they were considered 

"children's stories."  The one and only time I read 

my son "Little Red Riding Hood," his response

was "Mom, that's just weird."  He was right.

Hugs & Kisses ... From Me to You

The festivities at Papertrey Ink continue for their sixth 

anniversary.  Today we were to create some type of wrap,

 tag, or gift packaging project that was inspired by a

 photo found on Pinterest or another site.  Well, this 

took me a very long time ~ the Pinterest part ;).   I found

several recipes to try, some quotes that I really liked, cards

that I would like to CASE, and oh ~ my inspiration for the tag.

I really liked the bright orange and pink on the beaded curtain.

Two of the colors were same as those at ColourQ, 

so I added the other two and made a card also.

I'm stocking up for when I have to work overtime.

When it gets busy at work, overtime is not optional.

He loves the song ~ Call Me Maybe ~ I know this one will make him smile.
