Even with an extra day I am still down to the last few minutes for the challenge at retro sketch.

My first one is the previous post.

One of a Kind

A fun card for three challenges ~ color at Play Date Cafe,
"recipe" at Less is More, and congrats at A Passion for Papertrey.
I'll be giving this card to my niece.

 At Less is More:
RECIPE
3 - 2 - 1
This week we have a simple idea for you to use as the focus of your cards.
All that you need to do is to incorporate 3 of something, 2 of something and 1 of something else!

I have three die cuts (and pairs of flip flops), two gems (and two punches),
and one color (and only one stamp).

The shiny new challenge at A Passion for Papertrey!:

Us gals are in a very celebratory mood after a very successful Olympics - we don't want it to end! We certainly feel very proud of Team GBs achievements so with this in mind, we're asking you to create projects with a congrats theme this fortnight.

Stamp:  SU On the Green

August PTI Blog Hop

A VERY quick card for the blog hop this month at PTI, after working a 13 hour day today.
I went for the felt to add my texture.
Living in Wisconsin in summer is all about the detours.
We have two seasons ~ winter and construction season.
I get lost with detours at least once a month,
and my son groans ... Mom, are we lost again?
Yes, honey, but we'll figure it out ~ we always do, don't we?
One of these days I am going to invest in a GPS navigation system ;).

First Day of Third Grade!

A card for two challenges ending at noon ~ CASology and ColourQ.
I suspect I am definitely in the minority of Moms who are sad
to see the end of summer, and the beginning of the school year.
I hate having to work full time (and sometimes more),
and really enjoy the extra time I have with my son in summer.
School beginning means many things, but definitely the end of
lazy days and a stricter schedule, hence my alarm clock image.
I made a card a few days ago for the ColourQ challenge. I
still can't decide if I like it, so I am not going to link it.

A card for a friend of mine who is embarking on a new adventure.
I used the colors from the Buttons Color Trend at Embellish Magazine.
I used the sketch at CPS - Card Sketches.
I played bingo one more time at Simon Says Stamp.
I used the center row ~ my glitter is the glitter dot in the flower center.
My first two cards are the two previous posts.

I Heart You!

I wanted to make a a second card for the Tuesday Trigger.
My first one was quite literal.  I am entering a second card
into the bingo challenge at Simon Says Stamp.
I used the middle row of the bingo card.
The first one is here.
I plan on tucking this into my son's backpack on the first day of school.

Happy Anniversary

Another card for three challenges ~ color at The Paper Players,
sketch at Retro Sketches, and bingo at Simon Says Stamp.
I flipped the circles to left since it fit so well with the impression plate.
If you count the doily as lace, I can make bingo several ways,
missing only the buttons and ribbon (the blooms are in one of the hearts).

The sentiment appears a bit crooked, but IRL it is not.

Supplies ~
Stamps:  PTI Heart Prints, SU Teeny Tiny Wishes &  Baroque Motifs

Ink:  SU Cherry Cobbler & Not Quite Navy

Grunge Me ... Again!

Another thank you card for my son to send using the colors at Color Throwdown.
I am also entering it at A Passion for Papertrey ~ take your pick.
Sorry if you are getting tired of seeing Grunge Me,
but I am having a lot of fun playing with this set!
It's also almost impossible to mess up with.
I smudged orange on the left side of the card, but just added the orange dots,
and you would never know (if hadn't told you!).
It's not the perfect visual triangle, but its probably okay for grunge ;).

Supplies ~
Stamps:  PTI Grunge Me
Paper:  SU Very Vanilla
Ink:  SU Basic Gray, Poppy Parade & Pumpkin Pie
Additional Supplies:  Various brads from my stash

Wishing You Luck!

A card for my niece who will be starting college this fall.
I used the colors at the Play Date Cafe,
and the "feathers" theme at Less is More.
I am also entering at the 52 Card Pickup.
I really liked this card I made, and cased myself,
I only changed the colors, and used rhinestones instead of brads,
since it had to be a one layer card for Less is More.

ONE LAYER CARD
and this time the subject of your creations should feature
FUR or FEATHERS

Happy 7th Birthday

A birthday card for two challenges at ColourQ and CAS-ual Fridays.
I am also entering this at A Passion for Papertrey ~ "take your pick."
It's the third birthday party my son is going to this month,
good thing I am making the cards instead of buying them ;) ~ just kidding!
For what I paid for the four die sets I used, I could bought a lot of cards!
Of course, I didn't buy the dies just for this card ~ good thing;).

CASology

A VERY CAS card for this week's challenge at CASology this week.
The cue word is pond.

I made three prior to this, but they seem to be lacking.
The first one I made to combine with the color challenge at ColourQ,
but I am not going to link it.  I do have a plan B for that challenge.

The second one is only slightly different than the one I am actually linking,
but I like the white card base better than monochromatic.

The third one is so bad, I can't even post it.
I tried to add glitter to the waves in the pond, and it looked awful!

Getting a really early start on my Thanksgiving cards ;).

Another thank you card for my stash.
This one is for the Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab World

Sending You Sunshine

An encouragement card ~ likely to be sent to my sister.
I made it for the challenge at CAS-ual Fridays featuring things you would see in the sky.
I am not sure about the placement of the sentiment though.
I didn't like it going downwards, and there wasn't enough room going up.
This is my second card for this challenge, my first one is here.
